The
Eye-Toy is a remarkable new product made by Sony. Quite simply it's
a camera that plugs into a Playstation and is placed facing the
player so that they can see themselves on the flat screen T.V. in
front of them. The Eye-Toy recognises the position of the player
and senses their movement, allowing players to actually be in the
game and interact with what's happening on screen.
There is no handset to use, no buttons, no nothing
. The player
simply uses their body, arms, legs
., everything, to play the
games. With hilarious results!
Having an expertise in modern video games, For the EYE-TOY CHALLENGE
we have selected the two games most suitable for use in a corporate
environment; 'boxing', where the player fights the cartoon character
on screen, and 'mirrors', where the player has to hit targets on
the screen while their image is continually distorted and flipped.
A real cerebral challenge!
The EYE-TOY CHALLENGE comes complete with huge flat screen TV,
white back drop, lighting, rope barriers and a trained facilitator
to help explain the rules and run the system. As each player scores
points in the games, competitions can be easily organised throughout
an event. There is no limit to the amount of units that can be hired,
with each unit having a footprint of 2 metres by 3 metres.
It's all so simple, but is actually very funny and attracts a lot
of attention as players get immersed in the game; dodging and weaving,
waving their arms around in an almost imaginary world. The EYE-TOY
CHALLENGE is the cutting edge of video games and will bring a new
and refreshing element to your event.
